The NABSHOW in Vegas held true to its expectations with over 90,000 people in attendance and this year new and returning vendors came to showcase why they are superior over their competition, This was "The" event that they would talk about for years to come.

We stayed at the Luxor Hotel for a few days off the Vegas strip to fully emerge our self in the NAB spirit.

We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival due to them not having enough rooms available, Ill take it! the room was very spacious and overlooked the great pyramid itself, bedroom was very large and the bathroom could have been used as a separate living area it was so huge.

What was off was the room wasn't completely made to accommodate guest, almost like it was rushed to get finished but never quite made it to completion, i.e. towels missing, one of the robs was no where to be found, lets just say upon walking in one could tell something just war not completed.

The typical smoked filled casinos is what you get when you peruse through the corridors of the Luxor and they don't disappoint by delivering this pungent smell mixed with mold in the air, I think it could have been the type of shampoo they use for the carpets but it definitely didn't smell fresh. The food at the restaurant bar had ample portion sizes and the drinks were standard as well, nothing major stood out as I was expecting, for this was my first time here and I was super excited to be at the famous pyramid hotel.

I can say that despite the little incidents we had with the room and the experience at the bar, customer service was incredible. To rectify the situation management took care of the meals charged to the room, and charged us the single room rate for the suite.
